Stepping Up for Sick Kids

Diana Nguyen’s 25km Journey for Sick Kids
At Lending Association, community support is at the heart of everything we do.  On Sunday, 30 March, Diana will be walking 25km to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities in Randwick, an organisation dedicated to keeping families together during some of the toughest times in their lives.

Why It Matters

Fo

r families with sick children, having a place to stay close to the hospital can make all the difference. Ronald McDonald House provides a vital home-away-from-home, ensuring that parents and siblings can remain close by while their child receives the critical medical care they need. However, providing this support comes at a cost—on average, $160 is needed to accommodate a family for just one night.

Walking with Purpose

Diana’s 25

km walk is more than just a physical challenge; it’s a heartfelt mission to ease the burden on these families. Every step she takes represents the strength, resilience, and courage of the children and parents facing unimaginable

battles. By rallying behind this cause, Diana hopes to raise enough funds to provide families with the comfort and stability they need during their child’s hospital stay.
